1st post in 2008

it's now 5.50am on the 1st Feb!

1 whole month has passed since the new year!

things i've been busy with:

1) work! @ AIA. Finally, after a whole month, i'm able to interact more fluently with my colleagues =D At last, i can roughly master the various chinese names found amongst the stuff! been helping them to check loads of reports and i learnt one important thing: excel is very useful and essential! at least i learn this before my final year in uni, otherwise, i bet i would have continued to undermine the importance of this program and ignored the great benefits found within it.

2) meeting up with various people who have bothered coming out to catch up =D Sports is always a great way to improve relations and ease and facilitate conversational flows. But of course, sometimes without it, leads to a less distracting situation to really catch up with the other =) Dinner is always a good way to do so. Many more people to catch up with though. 25 more days left before i officially arrive in Melbourne once more! How many people can i squeeze within this time i wonder?

Some other random stuff:
a) Saw a car catch fire on the highway! (or near it) have a picture of it somewhere in my phone but i think the quality is quite bad so i shall save your eyes from getting irritated. =D

b) there's currently a bug above me and i am so scared stiff that i dont know if i can go to bed before my dad and sis wakes up for sch. makes me think of the 'bee movie' where the reason they suggested bugs fly towards lamps is because they think it's the sun (the attractiveness of bright lights) but the buzzing is just killing my nerves now. eeek!

anyway people, happy chinese new year in advance! =D not sure if i would be busy helping my mum bake stuff until i'm too lazy to post anything or not. but if that's the case, might just end up posting pix of the cake we'll have baked =)
