Social social

Sociable or Anti-Social? Friendship are easy to make but hard to continue

My peers in Singapore especially in secondary school might feel that i'm quite AS yet friendly to my juniors.

My friends in trinity shall forever perceive me as the energiser bunny, super high, super social.

My friends in uni.. well, it's not easy talking to the group of ppl.. the actuarists.

People in OCF are easier to talk to.. though not all.

I used to talk freely to people, getting to know them, getting their phone numbers and msn emails. Often adding and attempting to connect with them online, a much easier job than talking face to face.

But the problem is this, they take their own sweet time to be online (some never seen online at all) then i forget all about them.. numbers to be untouched and emails never to be used.

some weird stories:

- met this girl in an event. Got her email and phone number. Halfway when typing her number in my phonebook, her name actually popped up! Absentmindedly thinking that i might have already put her number down earlier, i ignored the sign. Proceeding to add her on msn, i wondered why i just couldn't seem to put her in the particular grouping in msn. Frustrated, i searched through each group. i found her exact email there too! had met her like 2 - 3 years before at a dance club and we've basically never really spoken much otherwise! amazing!

- talked to this other girl online .. asked her how her research went and all.. super friendly right... but one day i didn't expect her to come for welcome night and i was wondering who she was.. goodness. super paiseh to find out that it was her!

btw, learnt to play CS on wednesday. Whahaa.

randomness. shall learn to link things together. dang. i have to learn to stop triumphing my own partner. too excited already. haha. here's a good advice. "when in doubt, just triumph".

1st Skype call in ages (inspired by Charis' prim and proper chat) mine felt real rough and rugged (like how my mum described my voice). "spend ur time wisely - last year already. finish ur degree before u plan what you want to do" dang. it's terrible to be lost without a direction. God, guide me won't you?
